Inspired by poetry, the Impressionist works of the past, and the natural world, Téa Leroux creates works of art through sculptures, digital illustrations, and traditional oil paintings. Born in Costa Rica, her connection to nature is ever-present in her work as she seeks to create a precious moment of wonder in her paintings or to breathe life into a static sculpture. Her work aims to capture the movement and vibrancy in the world that surrounds us, as she explores themes of nature and mortality. When dissecting a particular theme, her work often functions as small pockets of her mind for you to enjoy rather than singular works of art, as she presents many different perspectives in a kaleidoscopic manner. Téa creates art to instill a sense of appreciation for the tragic and morbid as her focus on beauty permeates through all her work, whether it be her approach, techniques, or end result. 

 

Téa will soon be based in Hong Kong and is open to working on any and all future artistic projects.
